Coach Westlake implements changes for a more unified team
New head coach CJ Westlake has already switched up the Aggies' training routines to move from being a highly defensive team to a more hybridized skill style. Westlake plans to not only take the
team to nationals again this year, but is "working to get to D-1," he said. "That's our goal."
Not only does the team now have a more cohesive uniform, including new helmets and matching gloves for the players, but Westlake has helped bring in new players to add depth to the team. "They'll bring in lots of speed, and lots of skill," Westlake said.

“Things have changed with Coach CJ that have made our team
already look better,” said Brett Fernandez, who has played for the Aggies for
the past two years. “CJ is focusing on our team and getting us better at
hockey.”
Though the Aggies lost more players at graduation than they've brought on, Westlake is looking forward to the Spring, with a few more potential transfers to add to the roster.
